Hi! I'm new here so please excuse me because I have no idea what I'm doing I live in New York and I applied to transfer to UTA in the fall of 2015 as a Sophomore. Since I live in NY, all the info I get is just stuff I've read online, and I've read a couple of mixed opinions recently that made me worry a little, so I'm going to ask here to get a few more opinions. Is the Nursing Program good and does it prepare you for the real world? (One of the things I read was someone saying that they graduated from UTA and didn't know how to do anything because UTA didn't prepare them well enough)

I happen to live very close to UT Arlington. It is a reputable university with nursing programs that are well-respected in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex area.

I live close to UTA as well and there's a reason it's a hard school to get into. It's very well respected here in the area.
I think anyone from any school can claim a program didn't "prepare them" for the real world. That's what your clinicals are for and they are what you make them.
