im going to take NCLEX but when I checked the requirements all of the states need SSN in order to take the exam. other states would let you take the exam but in order to have a permanent license you'll need an SSN. if you dont have they will just give you temporary license. please help! :)

This is common in most states now that a US SSN is required to issue a license, if not with initial license definitely with renewal

How long does it take to obtain a SS#? I'm going to be asking for a friend.
but is there any state that still doesnt require a US SSN?
do you know what's "request for exemption for SSN" is that going to help me take the exam and get my license? thanks. :)
