Is my scrape healing properly?

I am not sure if this is the right place to ask but no one else will.

I scraped the skin around the corners of my nose badly 8 days ago. I applied the ointment my doctor gave me and the scabs fell off. Now the skin is pink but every time I take a shower a white layer of skin shows up which can easily be removed. I worried my skin is not healing properly because the scabs fell off too soon. When the scabs fell off the skin never bleed. Is this normal? How long will it take my skin to return to normal?

Any help is much appreciated.
