I recent took my teas exam Thursday and I didn't do as well as I did on the practice test.
Adjusted individual total score: 68.7%
ATI academic preparedness level: proficient
Mean - National: 64.3%
Mean - Program: 70.6
percentile rank national: 62
percentile rank program: 72
my GPA is 3.65 I'm concerned my score isn't good enough I think I should just take the exam again to be on the safe side.

Whether your score is good or bad depends on which nursing program you're applying to. Many schools have a requirement of just 60 to be considered. Other schools won't even consider you competitive unless it's above 80. I would check with your nursing program's specific TEAS score requirement.

With the increased difficulty in the NCLEX-RN many schools have increased their requirement. You need to check your school many are requiring around the 80 mark. My PN program still requires 57.3, but with that I can tell you the students have a hard time with the math and English/writing requirements.
The school website says the top 58.7 percentile I'm just hoping my 2nd attempt will be better and they also look at my GPA

you may be good! My LPN school only requires a 50 for a guarantee to get it... It must depend on your school and what program you are going for. Definitely find out before you retake it!

I think you'll be fine. You're above the national average and right at the mean.

Hi, i just wanted to say, that some school requires make you take Remedial course, before you can take the next Teas exam. Be sure to check with school, you will be applying, some will take your score, most community schools in LA county district will Require for you to take There Remedial Program.
Thank you

I would suggest retaking it just to be on the safe side. Why not, right? It is a difficult test, the timing gets me. I panic and run out of time on questions. But maybe get the study guide, study hard on it and take practice tests again. Good luck :-)
I actually took my test over today

Hey, congrats on your score. Me and you got similar scores for the reading, math, science, and english. My AI total score was a 73.4. What were your National percentile score for each of the 4 sections? I thought mines were kind of off, so I wanted to compare our national percentile rank for each section.
