Is school still overwhelming if I don't work and have no kids at home?

Hi - I hear so many people say that nursing school is super difficult. Well, if I don't have to work and have no children at home during the day would it still be difficult to get all the work done? Or, is it difficult in a different way? Thanks in advance for any feedback! :)

I knew a single 30ish mother with three children who managed to get through and I knew a young, childless, unencumbered 20something who couldn't hack it.

Just depends on your motivation, organizational skills and study habits.
