My neighbor had to repeat two semesters for the same nursing program that I am in. I see several threads of those that didn't pass a semester...I am soooooo afraid of this. I am doing ok so far, my first test a 74% second 97% and third 84% (I am only one of 2 people that even passed, passing is 80%). I am trying to do the best I can, I am not working and having to repeat a semster is NOT a choice for me. I guess I am just nervous and I don't want my nervousness to interfere with my ability to focus on school, I have this pit in the bottom of my stomach. My friend said that second semester (Med-Surg) is the hardest... I am terrified:cry: seeing that I am not making the grades I feel I should be making with all the studying I am doing. Honestly is it that common for people to have to repeat semesters? or am I just making myself crazy over nothing??
any advise would be appreciated:nurse:
I am trying to focus on one semster at a time- my husband has even promised me a brand new corvette convertable when I finish- I have that as my screen saver as something to work for- but it gets clouded in the negative attitudes that school is sooooo hard and having to repeat semesters etc.....
