OK so let my start by saying I was planning on moving to Brooklyn while I go to school to get my degree in nursing. Since the city is so expensive I'll have to work full time in order to survive. Since a few hospitals have shut down over the last decade I imagine I'll be doing some type of at home care. I'd rather not have to go to school part time so I was wondering if it'll be possible to do both.

I've been thinking the same thing. I have a friend who worked 3 12hr shifts and went to school 4 days in the week. She also had 2 little ones and had a support system. She did manage and 3 years after she is a Clinical Manager for Oncology. Therefore I say it is doable I guess its how determined you are to get the job done.
