Pharmacology is memorization. I cannot think of the name of the book off of the top of my head, but it is sold at Border’s, or at least that is where I purchased mine. The book is made of flashcards that offer good tips on how to memorize the drugs. As far as a C in the course, I cannot answer that one for you. I am sure someone in the nursing department can. Overall, I don’t think a C will hurt you. Just keep plugging away. By the way, did you get a change to look over the two exams you failed? Often times you can see where mistakes were made to ensure they aren’t made on the next exam or final.
I am currently in a nursing program; I'm third semester and graduate in May '11. Our pharmacology class was included in the nursing curriculum. For me it has been the hardest, although every nursing class is challenging in some way. I had a tough time, but I cracked down on studying very hard and ended up with an A in the class.

Hi all,
I am currently taking nursing pharmacology.. AHHHH!!! my last prereq before applying for the program in January.
It is INCREDIBLY difficult!
I failed my last 2 tests
:crying2: I am totally flabbergasted since I am an all A/B student! I study.. I know I can do better by changing my study habits.. more notes, more flashcards.. but still feel discouraged by how hard this class is.
I am not saying nursing is a cake walk, just want some reassurement that this class is a difficult, or one of the more difficult ones I guess.
Also, say I do make a c, (hopefully!) do you think that would look bad on my transcript during my application process? Or is this class just to help with preparing for the program?
Thanks!
Sarah
