Is the Pearsonvue trick accurate?

Published

I keep hearing mixed reviews about it.

I took the NCLEX-RN exam this morning and mine shut off at 75 questions and I literally counted / tallied 30+ SATA questions on my exam but stopped counting after that but I think it was 31-32 at the most.

Honestly, I have no idea how I did as it DEFINITELY didn't seem too easy but at the same time it didn't seem as hard as I expected, at least compared to Kaplan questions I've been working on and the fear instructors had put in my head since day 1!

I did the pearsonvue trick and got this message, "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time." I did this trick twice today and got the same message, once an hour after the exam and now about 5 hours after the exam to make sure but I have no idea at this point.

Is this accurate or has it worked for you or others? Would like to know, thanks in advance.

The trick is much less accurate within 24 hours because the test is scored twice. However, there have been those who got a popup that did not match with their official results even beyond the 24 hours. It's pretty much like asking this while risking $200. Instead, take some time to relax, do some things you didn't have enough time for while in school and studying, and wait for the official results.

On a sidenote, the type of question is irrelevant. All that matters is whether the computer determined that you met or did not meet minimum competency regardless of how many more questions you answered.

Not always. I took the PN nclex. It was accurate for me and most of my classmates but one of them thought she failed.. Got her results and she passed. When I take my RN boards I think I'm gonna wait it out and ask my doc for a script for some Xanax haha. Truth be told even when the Pearson Vue trick told me that I passed, I still questioned it and had bad anxiety til I found out i did actually pass!

It is less accurate when people "claim" to read the many threads (including the majority that say that is not accurate for the first 24 hrs) and still try it 5 hrs after the test.

Thank you everyone for your comments, appreciate them.

@Rose_Queen, I did take the advice and took some me time these past 2 days and got back to running and played some video games, which is rare :woot: but I am happy to say I checked the quick results this morning and received a PASS.

So, thank you to everyone here especially in the student section as I couldn't have passed concept maps without them!!!
