This article is totally weird. The numbers do not at all match up. What RN in NYC only makes $19K/yr? CNA's probably make more than this. Also, the housing one-bedroom units are going to be sold for $27K? Makes no sense. NYTimes shoulda copy-edited this one a little better.

I always knew the HHC was behind times. I got part of my school loans forgiven for working in the city, back in the 70's. And I wasn't working for the city.
