I have heard from a few people that KPLAN questions are the once that are most like the NCLEX questions, is this true?
Were doing the Kplan questions helpful?
Did any of you think that they were similar?

I just took my test this morning and used the Kaplan Online review. I did close to 1,000 questions and listened to all the video-streamed review of content... I don't have my results yet but when I get them on Mon or Tues I'll let you know how I feel about the Kaplan questions! As of right now, I'm feeling like nothing could have helped me to pass and I'm 98% positive that I failed... the test shut off at 75 but I'm definitely one of the few that fails with 75!!! :) I'm positive that I failed, never felt so sure about something before in my entire life!!!

I agree with Dakota, there's nothing you can do to prepare for that test. You don't even have to really know the disease process specifically since you get barely no questions on that content anyway.

I used the Kaplan strategies book, and felt it was extremely helpful. The ques in that book were as close to the nclex ques I could find. I also used Saunders. I passed with 75 ques.

I took NCLEX Sept 07 and I used Saunders Q&A, I took a review course by Sylvia Rayfield, and I also used Kaplan online. Kaplan hands down worked the best for me. The QBank questions were most like the NCLEX. I would suggest using Kaplan questions online. The format and types of questions are similar. I would suggest doing at least 100 questions a day. That way you'd be used to sitting down in one session the way you would during the NCLEX. I would score anywhere for 61-65% on Kaplan and I passed the NCLEX with 85 questions. Good luck to anyone who will be taking boards soon. There is light at the end of the tunnel!
