Hi everyone,
I am currently about to finish a degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in social sciences; the plan was originally law school but I realized that such a path might not be ideal after working in a law firm for three years. I have been taking prerequisite classes for the direct entry NP programs in the schools I am interested in and I am currently doing pretty good (4.0 GPA in the pre recs and 3.5 over all but I have enough classes left to get my GPA to 3.7).
I have been debating getting a minor in public health as that might look better when I apply for a direct entry program after taking the GRE's. Some people have told me that it is not necessary and that all that matters are my prerequisites, for those of you that have gotten into direct entry is getting such a minor worth my time or should I do an easy minor and maximize my GPA as much as possible?
Thank you in advance for your responses.
Bump, I really need some advice on this one if you have any input

I won't hurt you but honestly I don't really think is necessary and I wouldn't delay applying for it.
