Is COC College of the Canyons? Not that NCLEX pass rate is everything as there are other things to consider (cost, distance from home, etc) but LACC had a pass rate of 95.45% in 2010/2011 vs College of the Canyon's 82.93%. So there's that.
You can see all the pass rates on the BRN site: Board of Registered Nursing - NCLEX Pass Rates

In my personal experience, I've only met working RNs from LACC...
COC is in a better area, however bear in mind - both schools are on the "list" from the BRN. Pick the one you like the most, and release the other spot, so some other RN hopeful can make their dreams come true...
Hope that helps...
Thank you so much for the information.. I checked the passing rate before and noticed that LACC has higher passing rate of NCLEX exam. So I thought it might be helpful to ask somebody who is already in the nursing program. Thanks anyway for the info.

I know people who have graduated from both and both are good schools. I am attending COC this fall and they are actually making us buy the Kaplan review course to improve the NCLEX pass rate. Some schools hold back or drop students in their final semester (some right before graduation) and I am not saying they do this to protect their pass rates, but I am sure it can't hurt. I think we will all get out of nursing school what we put into it, just like life. Good luck to you all :)
Yes I was in orientation and I am sure the Kaplan program will help a lot. But I will probably go to LACC because it is closer to my house and my friend of mine also got accepted there.. So I will have a study body. Good luck everybody in the new journey of our life. Hope my decision will change someone elses education life..
