Is it too late for me?

Published

Hey yall!

I'm a college senior and I'm expected to graduate in May. My majors are Political Science and Spanish, but I have ALWAYS wanted to be a nurse. I just recently learned about this school (it's a part of my school, but in a different city). It offers a program for people who have a bachelor's degree in something other than nursing who want to go to nursing school. You'll earn a MSN as a Clinical Nurse Leader. I think this is wonderful, but I haven't had any of the pre-requisite classes and I'm about to graduate. I could always tack on an extra semester so that I can take those classes, but I don't want it to be a waste of time. I have gone through a LOT financially and emotionally while I've been in college and as a result, I don't have the highest GPA by a long shot. I'm afraid that I'll add all of this time to my undergrad career and still end up not getting accepted into the program. Do you think it's too late for me to try to get into nursing school?

Follow your :redbeathe!!! If nursing is what you want to do, then do it!!! You may not get in the first time, but if you read others post hardly no one does. Follow your dreams you if it's meant to be then it will be.
