Hi Everyone,
I am new to this site. I was wondering if anyone out there has graduated from Kaplan College in Vista and has obtained a job as an LVN. I am considering attending Kaplan for the LVN Program in VIsta this June 2011 or October 2011 but I am concerned that I may not obtain a job because I went through a "career college" program versus a university or comunity college? At least thats what I have been seeing reviews by other people on the internet. I have not done much research about career colleges before and have only heard bad things about them Is Kaplan a good school for the LVN Program?? I would appreciate anyones feedback. I am 32 years old and a momma of three children. I have already attended three semesters in a community college, However with all the budget cuts I have only been able to get into two classes that were actually part of my pre-recs...the other classes were just fillers so I could get a better registration date every semester... I am just not ready to spend 4-6 years in a community college or university to get my pre-recs and then apply and wait to get into the nursing program. With all these budget cuts it may take me longer. So thats why I decided to look into Kaplan. So again any info would be appreciated! Thanks!
