U.S.A. New York

Hey guys! I’m applying to Helene Fuld’s upcoming LPN to RN program. I can’t find much information on number of students admitted or if there’s waiting list.

Anybody applying? Any graduates from this school?

Hopefully not too late to get perspective from anyone on this forum, I plan on attending the school's GBS program Fall 2021.

Please let me know how the program goes for you guys!

Thanks

Hey everyone just wanted to know how the lpn to RN bridge is

Hi I’m in the program now you will get contacted in regards to the chem/math class and nursing class prerequisite class soon ,this semester is almost over and the new semester starts in August you have to pass both classes so that you can start the nursing program in November. The only thing is since Covid we have been taking our classes online so come August we might have to continue with online classes.

Hi, for the Chem and Math do you know what books you used? And the topics you went over?. Im asking because I recently got accepted but I have some time to study before I start the prerequisite and I want get ahead of things.

Hello everyone ,

I saw that the acceptance rate is 100% if you meet requirements . Is this true ?

I was wondering if anyone can provide any info regarding their BSN program , what is it like ? Do they really let you transfer Science credits and waive you from taking the ones you already took at another school ?

I had applied for it a few days ago thru Nursingcas and was wondering how long does it usually take to get a reply in regards to acceptance ... I tried to contact them through their website but I noticed it is a little difficult to contact them . Thank you !

Hey there! I'm currently starting the Med-Surg course at Helene Fuld! Does anyone who has graduated recently have advice on how to succeed with the hybrid class plus simulated clinicals??  We have the math test this week that we need to get a 100 on and our professor isn't giving us a study guide either.  Just curious what everyone else experienced?

Hi Heather, I just graduated from Helene. med-surg 2 I found was one of the hardest classes out of all of them. Are you in med-surg 1 or 2?.. what I definitely can tell you is that you need to stay on top of all your work and be organized.. there is a lot of stuff due each week plus u have to study for the exams that are practically every other week.. print out the syllabus and follow it week by week.. do not worry about what is due next week, this week, just focus on what is due each week because if you start worrying about everything that is due it will definitely freak and stress you out.

Thank you! I'm in Medsurg 1 right now. And Im also taking Gen Psych.  It's pretty stressful only because the professor is not super organized in explaining what going on and we just started. I'm finally getting the hang of Kaplan and prep u and all that. They definitely do not give you an inch here. I don't mind teaching myself, the teacher just did not make it clear on how to use all of the applications we need to get through. Trying to stay positive! I've heard that focusing on the prep-u questions is super helpful for the med surg exams tho? How did you feel about that?

Hi yes the prep u questions are very similar to the questions that you will have on the exams and sometimes the teacher will use some of the prep u questions on the actual exams. Who is your teacher?

Hey did you end up applying?

Hi yes it’s true they have an 100% acceptance rate as long as you pass the pre entrance test and pass the prerequisite classes. I did the Lpn to RN program, they do waive the classes you took at another school but I believe it has to be C and above. I believe that they are back to full time campus classes so you are better off calling them directly for the information.

How was your overall experience with Helene? Are you going to their RN-BSN program?

It was not bad, it’s doable you just have to stay on top of your work and deadlines due to the amount of work given. No I’m planning to do my BSN online and I’m looking around for a cheaper program.
