Is Helene Fuld hard to get into?

Published

Hey guys! I’m applying to Helene Fuld’s upcoming LPN to RN program. I can’t find much information on number of students admitted or if there’s waiting list.

Anybody applying? Any graduates from this school?

I would like to know as well.

Hey! Graduated from HFCN. No, there aren't usually any waiting lists. They accept students multiple times during the year, so as long as all your requirements are accepted you're good to go. Everyone starts with a 10 week course in Chemistry/Math and a 5 week course of skills prior to any nursing classes.

Good luck!

Hey quick question is the tuition expensive??

It depends if you need just the core nursing classes or pre-reqs as well. An average semester there with a nursing class & scienfe pre-req was $5,375. Each semester is 10 weeks. There’s financial aid and federal loans available though.

OK thanks did you go for BSN??

I just completed the pre-entrance TEAS exam, we did it virtually from home. I passed but I'm not sure what the next steps are, I know I still have to complete the Chem/Math and Nursing skills classes but those won't be until August. They matriculate students into Nursing classes twice yearly, in April and November. I'm hoping to start in November, no-one mentioned a wait list, and everything is on a first come, first served basis.

Hi I’m in the program now you will get contacted in regards to the chem/math class and nursing class prerequisite class soon ,this semester is almost over and the new semester starts in August you have to pass both classes so that you can start the nursing program in November. The only thing is since Covid we have been taking our classes online so come August we might have to continue with online classes.

Hey,

I have applied a few months ago and haven't heard back yet as to when I am supposed to take my TEAS test. Do you know when you applied and when they got back to you? I really hope to start in Augut 20'

I sent my application off December 26th. I received an email on Feb 20th inviting me to take the TEAS exam. I was supposed to take it on Mar 13th but because of COVID-19, it was postponed twice, finally took it May 8th.

They have been taking online applications because no one is working in the building right now. You may have to send your application in electronically if you sent it anytime after February.

Oh thank you, I guess I should probably be hearing something in late June or early July. Thanks!

I took my TEAS and passed on 05/08/2020 and I was told that I will be hearing about the next steps in June. I hope to get the information about the prerequisite courses soon!
