Hi, I'm planning to apply to some MEPN programs this year. I got a 500 Verbal and 620 Math. I'm debating whether to retake it or not. Any advice? Thank you in advanced.

I know when I was applying to vet school they suggested retaking it after a 590 verbal and 620 math. When I retook it I managed a 630 verbal, 690 math, and 750 analytical and got in. I'm not sure about nursing programs though. I hate verbal with a passion and its always my worst. I wish analytical accounted for something.

Hmm, that's weird that you got a score like that for your Analytical writing section.
I got a 4.5, and I presume it was for the essays
And I do agree with you, Verbal is really really hard!
Oh no, there was no writing section when I took it (It was about 8 years ago now!!!) The analytical (and everything) was multiple choice then.

I'm in the same boat as artemis30, I received a 480 on verbal but a 740 on the math -- I know that UCSF wants at least a 500 on both but my score is pretty skewed. If I had a good writing score, would that compensate for the low verbal?
