Hello! I live in the Kansas City Area and am just beginning to apply to nursing colleges. I am most interested in Saint Luke's college but am not sure if my GPA is good enough. I cannot find any statistics about the school on the internet, so I am wondering if someone who has recently gotten into or graduated from Saint Luke's college could tell me what their GPA is or any other credentials that got them accepted. At this moment I have about a 3.71. I have heard of people getting accepted as early as December, so I do not know if I resend my transcripts at the end of the next semester and that is calculated into my GPA or not. Any information would be helpful. Thanks so much!

Hi! I would say your GPA is def. good enough. I had a 3.15 and got into a really good nursing school! best of luck!

I would think a 3.7 is outstanding!!! Ive heard of 3.0-3.5 being a cut off so you should be fine. Although most schools also weigh your teas or net scores, some look at an overall gpa and a sci gpa, some also look at volunteering or even residence.

I guess it just depends. I have a 3.69 and that is the extreme low end of acceptance for my local CC. Ridiculous, but true.
it does vary by school and area. My local cc cuts off aorund 3.2ish, but the local 4 year schools dont really cut off the accept down to a 2.7
