Is a 3.5 GPA good enough to get into most nursing schools?

Published

Im almost done with my prereqs and if I get A's in my last few prereqs I will still have a 3.5. Im worried a 3.5 isnt good enough. Im going to apply to BSN programs if that makes a difference.

It depends on how well you did on your entrance test- whatever that may be where you live. the lower your gpa the higher you need on the entrance test.

It's good enough to get into A nursing program. Whether it's the one you want, we can't tell. There are a lot of factors.

The lowest GPA accepted at my ADN program for this fall was 3.46 with a 70% or better on the NLN.
