okay I took at kaplan test that had 180 questions and scored 63% is that okay or should I be scoring higher before I take nclex?

Don't get wrapped up in predictor test scores, instead rely on your own judgement as to how well prepared you feel.

In Kaplan class, our instructor gave us list of possible Readiness Test scores and the probability of passing the NCLEX with those scores. According to the list, you have a 94.1% chance of passing the NCLEX.

i'm still reviewing my kaplan...do you know what's the percentage in nclex if i have a % of 50-60 in kaplan?

my qbank is 60% overall and i've got 25% left to finish it..

okay, that makes me feel a little better.

Our instructor only gave us the % chance for passing the NCLEX based on our Readiness Test scores only. If you want to tell me your Readiness Test score I can give you the % for that.

It is my understanding that you should try and get:

-60% or above for the Qbank

-65% or above on Question Trainer Tests 4 and 5

-60% or above on Question Trainer Tests 6 and 7

my qbank is 60%

for the qtrainers 1,2,3, iv'e got 40% for the first time and by the 2nd time i got 80

qtrainer 4 and 5 still 40 and by the 2nd time i got 80..

i know that the questions would go over and over but i didn't depend on that because i wrote down why i am right and wrong..

my readiness test is 45..i feel bad for that score...

Your Qbank scores are right where they should be. That is good.

Your Question Trainers and the Readiness Test %'s are a little low. According to my instructor, your % chance of passing the NCLEX is only a 25.40%.

Have you gone through the lectures on demand? Those are really helpful. Also, try emailing your Kaplan instructor. They are really helpful and want you to succeed. Maybe they can point you in the right direction.

Your score is good! You have a good chance of passing. I took kaplan trainer 7 and got a 57 on it. Im not scheduled to take my test until wed. I know 2 girls who got below me one was a 54 and the other was a 56.They both passed. but dont worry about the %. Worry about the rationales.

I took the NCLEX on the 11th. I passed.

That score is really good. How have you been doing on the other questions trainers, the q bank, the diagnostic, and the readiness test?

trainer3:50

trainer4:63

trainer5:66

trainer6:62

trainer7:62

qbank as of right now im averaged 60% but ive ansered all of the questions and im just repeating questions now most of them i dont remember the answers and im get 70-80% on them, some even ninety..but first time around I was getting mid 50's. This is actually goin to be my fourth time taking it, but my first time with kaplans, so im hoping and praying this helped. It definitely feels like it to me..Congratulations on passing! Cant wait for that to me!! I have been through so much since Ive graduated nursing school, unsuccessful 3 times with nclex, and studied soooo much with so many different reviews except for kaplans, they were really the only review that taught critical thinking....do the questions seem very similar to kaplans to you?
