I just finished my NCLEX...I apologize if there are 50 million threads just like this one that have been posted before on these boards, I only just started reading them...but anyway...I just took my NCLEX about 3 hours ago, and I'm sure I failed. The computer cut me off at 75 questions, and there were so many I didn't know...a few I knew for sure but so many that I could only narrow down or just looked at them and was like....I have absolutely NO idea. I kept thinking maybe I'd have time to make up for the questions I didn't know, but then it cut me off and my heart sank and I can't get it all out of my head, even though I know there's nothing I can do about it now.
I was wondering if there's a faster way to get your results than waiting for them to be mailed to you from the state board of nursing. I am going through the Minnesota Board of Nursing. Any help would be appreciated.

[color=#6666cc]getting test resultsyou will be notified of your nclex examination results by mail within 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the distribution procedures for the state in which you applied. if you are successful, expect to receive a sheet of paper notifying you of your passing score. if you did not pass the exam, expect to receive a diagnostic profile that describes overall performance in each section of the exam. keep in mind that you must wait three months before applying to retake the nclex examination. if you want faster results, you can use the nclex quick results service. results are available by phone three days after taking the nclex examination. call (900) 328-8378 and follow the prompts. there is a $7.95 charge. results are also available online. the $7.95 charge still applies and you will need your user name, password and a credit card. the national council of state boards of nursing operates the nclex examination quick results service. this service is currently available in 38 states: arizona, colorado, connecticut, delaware, district of columbia, florida, georgia-pn, georgia-rn, illinois, idaho, indiana, iowa, kansas, kentucky, maine, maryland, massachusetts, michigan, minnesota, missouri, montana, nebraska, nevada, new hampshire, new jersey, new york, north dakota, ohio, oklahoma, oregon, south carolina, south dakota, texas (vn only), utah, vermont, washington, west virginia (pn only), wisconsin and wyoming. if you did not take the test in one of these states, you cannot get your unofficial results using the quick results service. if you have questions about this service, call the national council of state boards of nursing at (866) 293-9600.

I'm guessing that's three business days?

In theory there should be. When I took boards a few years ago the person at the test center told my that the nursing board is sent the results immediately. She said in perfect world one would be able to get their results right then and there, if they passed drive accross town- that test center was located in the same city as the BON and be issued their license.

I wish this was a perfect world...I read in an old thread on this board that someone said usually finishing in 75 questions is a good thing....here's to hoping!

good luck on the result...try and relax since you really can't do anything now...you did your part by studying, practice test and all that stuff.
