Is it easier for a new grad LPN or RN to get a job?

Nurses LPN/LVN

I've been a lpn for 3 years and always thought it was fairly easy to find a job. Now that im a new grad RN, i am not havin much luck finding a job. Even the company I work with as a LPN is not letting me work as a RN! I dont know what it is about LPN's but i think they have a bigger job market right now!

I was an LPN/LVN for 4 years before earning my RN license last year. I also encountered difficulties finding a decent RN position. My first RN job was a part-time weekend night shift gig at a LTC facility. Due to the sluggish economy, the nursing job market has changed for the worse in many parts of the U.S.

You are so right, i dont know if its the area im in or what. The whole idea of me getting my RN was to work in a hospital but it looks like its gonna be much harder than i thought.
