Hi everyone,
I'm very confusing right now so I really need people's help. I got my AA degree with a overall GPA is 3.3 and my prepreps course of science is 2.6, can I be able to apply to nursing program of any school in southern California? I'm thinking about do LVN at some private school and BSN but it still costs a lot of money and I don't wanna be in dept that much. Any ideas what should I do rn?

The GPA for the sciences is very important. Your options are to re-take those sciences to boost your GPA to get into a RN program. Or go right into an LVN program and then start over from there. LVN programs are less competitive. Usually RN programs are very competitive and students need above 3.5 GPA with at least 3.8 in the sciences. I know that there are some for profit nursing programs that will accept lower GPAs but those are very expensive. I would re-take my courses before paying for a for profit program. Good Luck!
