I was just wondering because I found the 12th edition for really cheap. However, my instructor has the 13th edition listed for the syllabus. These textbook manufacturers are really outrageous sometimes releasing new editions of textbooks with very slight variations. However, if the 13th edition is really different, I will consider purchasing it.

I can't answer about this book specifically but I can tell you that I used all old editions of books when available and saved hundreds of dollars
I would take a photo of a friends new edition table of contents and when doing the readings I would modify to take into acct my book
the questions at the end of chapters may/may not correspond to current NCLEX questions
some of the material may be more outdated than the current book on current practices, so if you read something, got it wrong on your exam and went to prove it to the instructor where you found it, you would still be wrong because there would be new evidence based practices
I graduated doing this and did well
Thanks for the advice, I will do that! Many of my classmates already got the newest edition plus the library will have a couple of copies. I'll just photocopy or take a picture of any "new" material!
