Is Australia really the best choice for overseas nurses?

Is Australia really the best choice for overseas nurses at the hype of global economic decline? :nurse:

a bit off but still acceptable since it's used in its noun form. whatever!

i think we should focus more on the topic...

i agree. we should focus more on the topic and ignore impertinent details

whenever i tell my friends to join me in my australian application, i always get the apathetic/nonchalant reply from them...they're not interested. all they ever think about is the US. am i the only one who seeks greener pastures in australia?

i have a friend in Australia who isn't necessarily in healthcare but she had great things to say about living and working in Aus. It was actually one of my options after graduating from nursing school but since most require experience,I decided to work here first. I now have 1.5 years of experience so I'm reconsidering work opportunities in the land down under. Any tips where to start? :) Thanks a lot!

go the the AHRPA website and find out how to get registered, decide where you want to live, remember that Oz is as big as continental Europe. Apply to a hospital that is willing to sponsor you if you are unable to do independent migration Google or Wikipedia are good sources.

Oz is looking for experienced nurses, we are spitting out more nurses than we have spaces for them in our Grad programs.
