Is anyone STILL waiting to hear for fall 2009 entry?

Yup! I am going nutty waiting to find out. I am on the waiting list with 35 other students. They had extended the deadline for everyone to get all their paper work in, forgetting about the people that have everything in :uhoh3: . It may be mean for me to say, but if someone really wanted in the program they would have their stuff in. Don't mind me I'm just going crazy here waiting.

I haven't received letters yet from the two places I applied, but I e-mailed both and got my answer. One simply said the class for August was full, the other that my application was incomplete - they never got my high school transcript even though I'd sent it in. It's frustrating, that's for sure. You might want to contact the school so you can get some idea of when you will know or perhaps they can even tell you that way.

I already know my status, too. I'm also on the waitlist along with 27 other students. Actually, now it's along with 17 other students. I'm #1 on the waitlist now and I was originally #11. It's awful sitting around waiting...

I received a letter in the mail stating that the fall 2009 class was full and that they did anticipate "some potential movement" on the list over the rest of the summer (they'll admit people up until Aug 31st). I'm now sitting around waiting to see if SOMEONE...ANYONE!! who accepted a spot in the program decides to drop out.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one waiting and I wish you the best of luck.

I am in the same boat...they have picked everyone, but told me I'm so close that its possible I'll still get in. Its driving me nuttttssssss!!!!!!!! School starts aug 24th so I have a little less of a wait, but I wanna know already. I've checked and only like 10 out of 60 poeple have registered for the 1st semester nursing classess so I hope that's a good sign for me.... good luck to all of u. Hope u hear something soon.

I wish there was a way to check how many people have registered for nursing classes! That would atleast bring some light into the situation (unless everyone had!)

Well I'm already a student at the school I applied to so I can go online like I am registering for classes and check to see which ones are still open. That's the only reason why I am able to check.

At my school it's the same they have 60 spots for BSN so far and when I looked at it the other day, 2 were registared for the classes but yesterday one dropped all their classes. They don't have the ADN classes up yet but everything cam change between now and the end of July when the make their final decision.

Yea things do change. I went and looked today and there are 25 people registered...but there is still a chance. I know people that got excepted to ,ore than one school and they accepted all the offers so they can have more time to decide. Totally not fair cuz they aren't gonna say anything til last minute. Which makes things crazy for those of us waiting. I hate waiting!!!!!!

Wait you said they make a final decision by the end of July? Is that for all schools or just your school? Because I was pretty sure Samuel Merritt gave you two weeks to put in a final decision. I'm not positive though.

I think that may have been that school. I think that my school is making decsions all the way til classes start.

I go to Lamar and they told me byt the end of July they could change that too its not like they stick to what they say anyway. I am very tired of waiting and I have a daughter and a husband and all of our schedules are on hold until I know for sure. My school starts Aug. 24 so I am really hopeing to know something before to long or I am going to be ****** if they call me Aug. 23.
