good afternoon!
i'm just curious if any of you college network people are letting them finance your exam fees and cpne? i saw recently where they are now allowing those to be financed.
i'm not a fan of tcn, nor do i recommend it to anyone. i know and completely agree with the fact that they are taking advantage of people charging $400 per study guide. i'm just curious about how getting your exam fees and cpne financed works.

I did finance the exam fees through TCN. Hated the fact I was really ripped off. Can't do anything about it but pay or destroy my credit. Anyway... when I was ready to take an exam... which I usually I called TCN one week before I was reading and told them I was ready to schedule said certain exam. Then they take about a week to process your check and send it via mail. Once It arrived I deposited it and then scheduled the exam. When i was ready to take the next test they want you to fax in a certain form with the next test your taking and the past test yo passed (they want the results). Overall it was a pretty easy transaction. I didn't finance the CPNE. I saved and paid for that one.
Good luck!

as far as I know tcn wont finance the cpne -- you have to pay excelsior directly.

not sure with the whole TCN finance thing, but EC allows you to finance CPNE and exams through their payment system, along with enrollment fees etc.

Another ploy to get people's money. Better to earn the money or get traditional loans with other lenders.
This info is available on the website or, you can call and speak to an advisor.
