Is anyone else considering Galen College of Nursing - Tampa?

Hello,

I'm in the process of trying to apply to different nursing schools in Florida and am looking into Galen College of Nursing in Tampa. From what I've heard, the school is not nationally accredited and if I received my ASN from there that it would not transfer to a school such as USF if I decided to continue on to earn my BSN. I realize I can complete my BSN through online schooling, but I am curious as to job opportunities. If I were accepted into the program and graduated from Galen, would I only be able to get jobs in Tampa, or would I be able to get a job elsewhere in Florida or in the States? If I receive my BSN someday from a school that accepts Galen graduates, would I not be able to become a nurse practitioner or a nurse anesthetist if I decide to move forward with my career?

I went on the 6th and the said I would be able to transfer when I was finished so they are accredited now. Im planning on the Jan RN class. They also said by next year they'll have a bachelor's online program.
