Irish nurse needs extra course for NCLEX

Hi all,

The CA BON have reviewed my file and said I need a 'Microbiology with lab' course before they let me sit the NCLEX exam.

I have rang around the local colleges (living in Pasadena) to no avail.

Has anyone been through this journey?

Every community college district should offer the course.  I'm sure it's an impacted class that is difficult to get into, especially if you're not a continuing student.  I'd make an appointment with a nursing counselor at a local community college.  You probably need a pre-req beginning chem class to get into micro.
