straight to the point my license was reinstated but by mid november 2013 is my last day my investigation fees are due and coming up with several thousand isnt always fun...Im just wondering if any other nurses who had to pay there fees was able to do a scheduling/payment plan for it while being able to have license active in the state of fl or in any other state. I would just call but I am also timid cause in the agreement i signed with the state it said fines are to be paid prior to reinstating of my license. So basically i dont want them to be like oh well we dont have payment plan and oh btw just noticed we did mistake your license should still be suspended....I have been working for over a mth now and i dont wanna lose my job i fought for and get license backed to suspend status when im using this job to pay bills and save for this investigation fee... Thanks

The board in Texas (which is one of the worst) allows payment plans. I'd advise you to contact them and find out. Good luck!

I would just call and ask. Don't tell them who you are just say is there a payment plan nurses can use to pay there fines. Which I'm sure there is bc it would be stupid to think we could pay it in one lump sum these days. Thankfully my father paid mine in full bc I have no $ at all. Or if you can put on a credit card and make payment plan with the card company. Also I know you cam get fines dropped from $1000's if you have used a lawyer. I used a good one and got mine dropped from $1600 to $600. I'm in Alabama btw. Don't be afraid to ask they are intimidating on purpose they feed off it. I can't stand calling my board and probation lady but we all have to at one point. And if there rude just hang up on them. Why bother letting them **** us off when we have enough stress going on and plus we are bettering ourselves no need for them to make us feel like garbage.
Alright ill do that and hopefully find out if its possible. Yesterday my wife found out shes pregnant so I hope they accept payment plan and just get this over with. Ill keep you guys updated on what florida bon says
