Inver Hills vs. Century

Published

I got into both Inver Hills and Century Nursing program for fall semester, anyone have opinions on the schools or know the differences between their programs?? Anything will be helpful.

Well Inver and Century actually had a joint program together up until last year. I am finishing up semester 2 at Inver right now and let me tell you semester 1 was pretty crazy, the whole program was reshuffling and restructuring last summer and that first semester was hard. But people who are finishing up semester 1 right now are saying that it's not that bad so everything may have settled out. I'm not sure what to tell you, I would assume they are pretty similar. If it were me I would choose the school that is closest to me, but again that's my opinion. There are some great teachers at Inver and some sucky teachers at inver... but that's probably the same thing as Century.

If you have any other questions specifically related to Inver, let me know, I am more than happy to help. I just don't know all that much about Century to be honest.

That's awesome that you have a place! Choose quickly I am sure that there is a student dying for the spot you don't choose at either school!

I wanted to ask, how are the entrance exams? Century uses the HESI and Inver uses NLN, are they both equal or is one harder than the other? Did you have to study like crazy?
