Hello,
I just applied to Inver Hills CC yesterday. Applications are due Feb. 1st. I am worried that my teas score will not be high enough to get accepted. I got a 70% overall on the TEAS. I have a 4.0, but am feeling like that may not be good enough. Does anyone have a similar teas score and GPA that was accepted? Or any other Inver Hills hopefuls willing to share your scores? I appreciate any input. Thanks. :)

I've applied at both Inver Hills and North Hennepin for this coming fall. My GPA is only a 3.1 but my TEAS score is an 81.3. I'm hoping its good enough. I took an info session last week and the woman was saying they accept 50 students and so far they've got about 60 applicants who's TEAS scores range from 60-70%.
Here's to hoping we both get in!

I just took the test on the 27th and let me tell you it has absolutely nothing to do with nursing. It's exactly like the ACT.
Good luck to you. I would be really floored if my TEAS score was high enough. I am trying to think logically about my chances. But it really just depends on how many people apply and how I (we) compare. Congrats on your TEAS score by the way, and good luck to you. This is going to be a long month and a half of waiting. :/

I applied for anoka Ramsey for fall. GPA in the four core classes of 3.75 and teas of 79.3. I'm doubtful considering our school accepts 80 and said they have about 1200 applicants. I know at anoka Ramsey the science portion of the teas is the most critical. I ranked 91 in program average for science portion so that gives me some hope.
Good luck to you!
I called Inver Hills today and asked how many applicants they had so far granted there are still two days to turn in applications. But they said so far they have about 200 applicants.

I'm pretty sure Anoka-Ramsey does not have 1200 applicants. They typically only get 250-300. I don't think that an extra 900 would just pop up out of the blue.

I applied only to Inver Hills. I have a 4.0 on the submitted classes and overall, but I know they only are (supposed) to look at those four classes. My TEAS was 86% which puts my entrance score at 12.6/14.

I also applied to Inver, Century, and Nhcc. I had to take the TEAS twice, my highest score was 67 and my GPA is 3.75. I used the same logic as nae312213 my overall entrance score is 10.4/14 at IHCC and Century.
Only a week left now until we find out! Crossing my fingers! :)
The reasoning for that is because they didn't accept any applications for the program for last semester. So they have applicants from last semester who were waiting for apply as well. In addition, they recently added the BSN program, which also made them more desirable.
I'm just saying what I was told, and I heard 1200 applicants.
