After you're submitted, is it normal for the hospital to set up a time to interview you or do they just call on a random time and day? I had a facility to call me yesterday (Sunday) late afternoon but they didn't leave a voicemail or anything with contact info.

I've been called to set up an interview time before but it is darned rare. Managers fit them in when they can usually. However, you should have also given your agency good time frames for the hospital to call. Obviously they cannot interview you while you are working, and shouldn't call when you are sleeping.
@NedRN I didn't know what to expect! That's inconvenient especially if you're working or out and about, but I'll keep on the look out. Thanks!
If your recruiter is not communicating with you, you need to consider moving on. Likewise, you need to communicate: tell them you got a call, was not available, and that they did not leave a message. Also let them know what your schedule is so the hospital knows when you are available.
