Interviewing for House Supervisor, ADVICE PLEASE

Published

I want to make sure I've done my due diligence and then some. I'd love some advice...

What are Press Gainey scores?? I kind of know, but how do I get that info about a hospital?

I've looked at the facility on Medicare.gov, and have combed through most of their own website.

What are some questions you could see being asked?

My experience is going to be an issue, this is a second career. But I do have three years ICU experience (2 adult, 1 pediatric) and have served as a resource nurse for about another year.

Yeah...anything. I REALLY want this job. It sounds like a great opportunity to help from a wider systematic perspective.

Thanks!

I've never known a house officer who didn't have 20-30 years of experience. Most of them seem to start as charge nurses, then eventually fill in as relief supervisors before becoming full time supervisors. It's going to be a hard sell. I wish you luck!!
