Hello, I interviewed at the VA hospital. I applied and was interviewed a month after. My interview was last week it seem to have went rather well. At the end of the interview they asked if I had any questions and I asked 3 questions ( none about salary of course). They said I will hear something within the next two weeks regardless of the decision. The next day one of my references called me and said they called her and she gave me good reference. However the other two references weren't called. The one they called is a Rn the other two are Lpn. I know someone else who interviewed for the same position. She said they told her she will be notified within 3 months regardless of the descision. Also when they asked her if she had any question she didn't ask any but she said she jokingly asked "when do I start". Also she said they haven't called any of her references. I just don't know how to feel about this and I'm a lil anxious because I really want this position. Can anyone give me feed back?
Just wondering. I am an lpn and when I first got out of school a couple years ago I quit my first job rather quickly. Do I still need to put this in vetpro? Will they only check the jobs I put in the system?

You need to claim every job; if they find an omission after you're hired they can fire you, if they find the omission before you get the job you might lose it before you land it. It's pretty easy for this omission to be found, btw, as your employer would have paid Social Security, etc on you and THAT is most definitely "in the system".
Also, any gap in employment greater than 30 days will need an explanation.
so.....what did you decide to do?

After my phone interview with the VA, they called my RN (friend) reference, my current manager and my previous manager - this all occurred on the same day after my interview.
