Interview on the cardiology floor

Published

I am very excited that a hosp has finally decided to interview me for a nursing assistant job on the cardiology floor. But I am also very nervous about the interview now b/c I only have 6 days of clinical experience (I am also a second year nursing student) on the cardiology floor.

What are the concerns that the nurses on the cardiology floor have? What do they expect a nursing assistant to do?

I have some experience working as a CNA in a nursing home. I think working in a Hospital will definitely help me a lot with my school. I can see more diagnoses and conditions which is great for me.

I just hope that someone out there can give me some tips of how to impress the interviewer.

Thanks.

As a CNA you will have access to a lot of years of expert nursing knowledge. Tap that resource as often as possible. I was a CNA in a critical care unit while I got an ADN and got an education money cannot buy.
