expat nurse in greece

Hello to everybody,

I would like to have an experience in Greece in Athens exactly as a nurse.

I have 2 years of experience in UK ,I would like to work as part of team in an international organization .

I don t know how to find the job in Greece ,I know a bit of Greek how to write it and how to read it.

If anybody has some informations or any suggestions I will really appraciate.

Hi all.

I am a RN and i have worked in Athens for 10 years in a big public hospital at CCU. .I m sorry to dissapoint you but here in Greece is very difficult to find a job as a nurse..there is a lot of unemployment..the hospitals are understuffed but they dont hire people and if they do they dont pay! and if they pay the money are at least a shame( ney nurses get a salary of 480 euros). Every single nurse want to leave abroad. So as my shelf( i m leaving for Dublin)..i can talk you hours about Greece and nursing...is a nightmare... i know we have the sun the beautiful weather, the islands, the people etc...but Greece is an illusion. I love my country, i really do but no one can work like this, endless hours of work, underpaid, without respect and always with the thread that can replace you in a minute..It is very sad..if you need anything send me an email and i will help you if i can.
