Good thread! When I submitted my program to the nursing board in the NSW area I was informed I would need to take some schooling in Australia to work there which I could not afford to do. I have a BS and am almost done with my MS and they said they could not honor that since it was not a nursing major. Between that and the visa fee of a minimum of 3,000 I could not work there. The hospital I wanted to work at could not help me with the Visa fee. Alot of hospitals do help though. Forgot to say I have an ADN also.
