hi,I would like to know. since I dont have a social security number, I can't take NCLEX in CA (sadly this is where majority of my relatives lived and prefer me to stay and work) . Fortunately, I have few relatives in NY too. I will be taking my NCLEX in NY, when I pass my NCLEX, can I transfer my license to CA state? even without practicing my profession in NY? and not having a SSN?
and, I also heard that since I'm an international grad. don't take NCLEX in CA state because I can't renew it?

California's requirements are the same whether you happened to be licensed in a another state, or not. I am a citizen of the USA, went to school in the USA, and had a license in another state when I applied to California. They still required absolutely everything from me.

Even with a license in another state CA will, as mentioned, require same information and SSN to endorse. As a IEN you will have the same hurdles as other IENS
