Internal Collections??

Hello. I am wondering if someone is able to hellp me with this. I applied and recieved financial aid last semester. I am currently enrolled in a couple of classes. I looked on my student account and it states that I am in internal collections and that I can't enroll in other classes until I pay my bill.

My question is, do they put you in internal collections when you receive financial aid? Not sure what this means. I have been waiting for days for the school to open so I can ask them, but I am getting impatient. I would appreciate any help.

Thanks. :redbeathe

I just went on my school's website and couldn't access my record because they said I owed fees for past terms and listed the two upcoming terms. I wasn't even aware that I had registered for the summer term yet because the summer term isn't even open for registration. I don't feel like going to the school tomorrow to deal with these dingbats in the admin office. They couldn't even take care of a prereq hold last term. Good luck with your problem. Hopefully, it is only some mistake.

Thanks for the reply. I hope your problem is resolved too.

I applied for financial aid last semester and received my check. I don't have to re-apply until next year right? I hope I didn't miss a step.

I will let you know what I hear tomorrow.

Is it possible you incurred charges after your financial aid hit last term (library late fees, parking sticker, etc)?

I talked with my school. I had forgotten to pay my $50 credit agreement that is due each semester. Went there today and paid it. Whew! Glad that's taken care of. So much to forget these days, and so much to fork over. :)
