Internal Cervical Radiation

I have come across 2 questions from 2 different sources regarding internal cervical radiation.

Both questions ask the proper intervention for finding an implant on the bed.

In school we were taught to take forceps and put it into a lead bag, and so does Saunders.

In NCLEX4000, there was the option of using forceps then placing the implant in a led bag, but also contacting the radiation specialist department. I chose the forceps answer and was wrong. The correct answer is the latter. Is there a discrepancy or in the case there is an option for calling a specialist that would be a better answer?

Thanks in advance.

Can't answer this one without knowing the actual question and answer choices. Often there are specific words in the question or answer choices that make the one answer correct over another.

For NCLEX practice questions we must read the question and answer choices paying attention to each word specifically.
