Hello all,
its been about three years since I graduated with my Bsn from a traditional school. I have thought about returning to an online program to obtain my msn. I am hesistant to do so because I know it will dedicate a lot of time considering I work night shift and my schedule is not set. I know people who have done their msn with chamberlain online and while they liked it, they racked up about 25k in loans. I am not trying to do that as I am already paying off a student loan. I've heard about WGU but I don't know anyone who has completed their BSN to MSN in the leadership management option. I don't necessarily want to become a manager but I think it will open more doors as opposed to the education track. Also, the WGU program seems more cost effective but I fear that since it's good in cost that there is a hard curriculum to follow. I'm just posting this thread to find out current info from people familiar with the WGU program, what it entails (discussion boards, multiple papers in short amounts of time, etc). Any info will help as I don't want to commit to something that I know realistically I won't be able to do right now. Thanks in advance.

WGU has NO discussion postings, NO group projects, six month terms so very flexible in terms of workload and twelve start dates/ year. Feel free to PM me- I work for them AND am a two-time grad.
