Inpatient rehabilitation

I received an offer from free-standing inpatient rehabilitation center.  Is this considered as acute, subacute or post-acute experience?

it depends on how long the patients have therapy! < 3 hours is subacute and 3 hours is acute

Bless you! I never knew this. Is this industry standard?

I’m not the OP, but I accepted a new grad position within the main hospital for the rehab floor; most of our pts are neuro of some sort (70%+). Therapy is 3+ hours a day. So acute rehab then? Does knowing whether it’s acute, subacute, or post acute actually matter? What are other differences between them, if any?
