Hi, new grads just wanted to see if anyone else was invited to the hiring event at Inova's corporate office this month in Falls church.

What floor area you working on?

I interviewed with staffing solutions and they hire for all five hospitals, so the recruiter told me I will be in critical care. They have not placed me at any hospital or unit yet. I have requested the Alexandria or Falls Church locations. I will have my start date and all the rest of the information by the 26th.

Just adding to what's already been mentioned here:

When searching for jobs on the Inova Careers page, be sure enter "registered nurse graduate" in the Keyword field. That's how I found the position I applied for...and I received an offer today! There are quite a few positions posted right now. :up:

Do you need to have experience to apply those jobs?

These are new graduate positions. So, you need to have graduated in the past year and have less than a year experience.

Drmofjeannie, can you tell me how your critical care residency went? I just received an offer! I just want to know how your experience was and if you were able to get your first choice of ICU positions after completing the residency. Were there any locations or ICUs that seemed to have the most openings?
