I would try for an IV|PICC Team....you will get lots of experience there. You will find it a lot easier to pass the CRNI test after you have practiced for about a yr or so...of course. you will still have to study. I have taken that test every 3 yrs since I think since 1990 or 91. I will take it again ithis yr. If you need any tips I can give you some tips to pass. I have nevr failed it..never even came close..but YES you have to be prepared to pass it...it is not an easy test...I would be happy to give you some suggestions.
Hi Iluvivt, What does PM mean? I don't know how to contact you directly. May I have your email address? Thank you again.
pm is "private message." I am sure Iluvivt does not want her email posted on the forum for everyone to see, nor would I advise it. You can start sending and receiving pm's after you have 15 posts.

Any ideas on where to search for IV nurse positions in northern NJ? I prefer outpatient centers or hospitals as opposed to home care, however would consider home care. I currently work on a med/surg floor and have over 4 years of nursing experience, including 2 years of chemo experience. Took the exam for CRNI in Sept 2010, and failed but plan to sit for it again this March. I'd really like to focus on IV nursing, however my facility doesn't have an IV team.
