Informational Interview

Hello Nurses,

The purpose of this posting is to gather information so I can make an informed career decision. The information that I receive will help me determine whether or not Nursing is the most suitable job for me. I have an interest in Nursing, but I would like to learn more from those who have the experience. I understand that you are all busy, but I was hoping to receive some responses from people of different backgrounds/specialties. I would like to read about why you decided to work in this field, the pros and cons of working as a Nurse, the work experience, and any advice you can suggest as I consider working in this field.

Please note that I would prefer those who are responding to please respond via private message since there is some personal information requested. Some may not be willing to share this info and that is okay, too. This info is required of me as part of my vocational exploration services as I gather information about the different occupations that I am considering. Thank you and I look forward to reading your insights and advice regarding this field. :)
