Anyone who has interviewed at Texas Wesleyan willing to offer any information on the interview process? Also I am traveling from another state, any suggestions of Hotels nearby? Thanks for any information.

Send me a private message. I'll tell you what I can, but remember, every site is different.
I don't think I can use the private message function. Can you email me and give me your email address? Thanks

Nurse Kitten, What TWU site did you interview? I am interviewing in Fort Worth. Also are you currently in a program? if so which schoool? Thanks for sharing information.
It seems that I cannot post my email address, is there any other way you could send me informatio
I interviewed in Tallahassee - and am in TWU's program. It's not a bad interview.
What they expect is to see a thought process that shows them you know how to think, reason through things and have some composure in stressful situations. Those are things that can't be taught - or are much more difficult to teach than the hard and cold facts of anesthesia, e.g. Ketamine is not a good idea for induction on patients with increased ICP's.
Know what you can, but realize that you're not going to know the answer to everything. Doesn't mean you shouldn't try to know it - the more you know, the better. Just means there's no way you will know the answer to everything that could potentially be asked. The questions are tailored on the moment, and no, I didn't know the answer to all of mine, by a long shot. What I was able to do is talk through the physiology with my interviewer, and we arrived at the "correct answer" together.
Back to studying for ortho and neuro final today. :)
