Info on favorites staffing agency/ texas hospitals

Published

Has anyone used the favorites staffing agency? They staff some hospitals in texas. What hospitals have you worked? Anyone work san antonio or dallas? If so, which hospitals? Your opinions of hospital and agency? What is the pay like? (no info on website) benefits? Housing? Etc....

Any additional info you have is appreciated. Thanks!

Is that all you want to know?

any additional information is appreciated......

I'm pretty sure that several nurses have worked in San Antonio or Dallas! There you go.

So you have nothing to offer obviously, NedRN. Why did you bother to comment?

So does anyone have any experience working with the Favorites Staffing agency and would like to address the questions in the initial post?

I was trying to be gentle. Let me ask you a question: tell us everything about yourself. Get it? You posted vague open ended questions that would literally take tens of thousands of words and now you exhibit a sense of entitlement. The only research you have apparently done is visit one website.

Are you local? What is your specialty? Are you looking for per diem or travel? Do you have any experience with either? See what I did there? If we know that, we might actually be able to answer your question with information useful to you.

There is no "favorites staffing agency". You are likely referring to Favorite Healthcare Staffing, one of the largest per diem companies in the country. They also do some travel. Try calling them for rates at some of the hospitals they serve. Do the same thing with some other agencies. That is about the only way to get real numbers for your specialty and experience at hospitals you want to work at.

Once you have better ideas about what you want to do, then questions about specific hospitals and agencies might help better inform your decision. But right now, asking for information about the dozens of hospitals in San Antonio and Dallas, not all of which use per diem or travelers regularly, is not something most posters are likely to reply to, nor is it likely will you find such information useful.

Like any other area in nursing......pay is based on experience and area worked. More premium pay is offered to nurses with experience and those that work in specialty areas. I found an entire page about benefits IF we are talking about the same agency. Some contracts offer housing or a housing stipend.....you will have to negotiate this with the agency at the time of your contract.
