I'm in NY can I do IS ' Lpn-bsn program? What are the current issues with ISU and CA?

New York is not listed under this disclaimer below can anyone let me know for sure if this is true. Why can't anyone from NY be accepted? NY is a big and popular state I dont get it. Also whats the current deal with out of state non california resident ISU students and California?

Indiana State Online programs are only available in the states listed below. Currently, online programs are not offered in the states of Arkansas and Massachusetts. ISU is not accepted in CA as of a few years ago due to multiple issues. While NY accepts EC it does not accept ISU's online program. If I recall it has to do with the BoN & accreditation (a state vs. state issue) there used to be an explanation on ISUs site a while back

Not sure if you can be admitted with a waiver affidavit stating you understand that you cannot be licensed in NY after graduating.

There are several threads explaining the ISU/Sonoma State/College Network fiasco that made it to the court rooms. Just like EC vs CA BRN, CABRN prevailed and I believe some sanctions/reprimands were issued as a result of the investigation.

Do you mean ISU for CA? There were talks but only for those already enrolled and ready for clinical rotations,as an agreement was made with VA facilities in southern CA. If I recall correctly only southern CA students could finish and they were still on hold admitting new students from CA.

In California, all ISU undergraduate and graduate online programs are available EXCEPT for the following:

Driver Education Licensure Program

Gifted & Talented Licensure Program

LPN/LVN to BS Program

Middle/Secondary Teaching Licensure Program

School Administration Post-Master's Non-Degree Licensure Program

Visual Impairment Graduate Licensure Program

LVN to BSN is not available to CA residents/candidates
